This is our annual picnic in the parking-lot. Join us for Chef Ken Bald’s hot dogs and brats. Bring a dish to share and your drink.
We will be turning pens for the troops on the Comet lathes before and after lunch. Blanks are prepared and ready to turn along with assemble and finishing materials. Great time to turn a pen if you are a pro and/or if you have never turned one. Instruction provided.
At the 1pm meeting Michael Blankenship will be turning a bell ornament. Michael’s demonstrations (blind turner) are always entertaining and educational!
President’s Challenge for September is to turn a Beads of Courage box. BOC beads (they go on the box) are available for $1.25 from the Treasurer or other community item.
