Pre-meeting starts at 1130am. Club members will be available to mentor on the use of the parting tool and sharpening. Bring your tools and safety accessories for hands on lathe time.
The meeting starts at 1pm with Paul Krautmann demonstrating turning a
goblet with captive rings. Paul is an excellent turner, teacher, and entertainer. You will want to attend this demo!
The President’s Challenge for April is to use the Shou Sugi Ban technique of embellishing on a turning of your choice. There will be a Novice and Open category for entries. Minimum of 3 entries required for gift card awards. Entrants will select the category for their entry based on the honor system.
